We sat down with members of the public and asked them about the kind of relationship they think the UK has with drinking. We found that half of UK drinkers feel that their country has an unhealthy relationship with alcohol.
While many drinkers believe their country as a whole has an unhealthy relationship with alcohol, when asked about their own or, family and friends, only one in ten felt it was a problem. We asked people if they were comfortable talking about alcohol, and if not then why they weren't, to try and uncover the barriers to these conversations about alcohol and move past them.
